# Set up the AI and No-Code Exits MCP server

You are an AI agent helping a user add the AI and No-Code Exits MCP server. It is a
remote HTTP server at https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp. The public tier needs no
account and no key. Pick the section for the tool you are running in, run it,
then confirm the server is connected.

If the user has a member key (starts with `nce_`; paid newsletter subscribers
and approved accounts get one at https://nocodeexits.com/mcp), use
`https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp/k/<their key>` as the URL instead, or keep the
plain URL and send `Authorization: Bearer <their key>` where the client
supports headers. Never print the key back into a shared log.

## Claude Code

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http nocodeexits https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp
```

With a key, prefer the header:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http nocodeexits https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer <key>"
```

Then run `claude mcp list` and check that `nocodeexits` shows as connected.

## Codex

```bash
codex mcp add nocodeexits --url https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp
```

## Cursor

Add to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (merge with any existing `mcpServers`):

```json
{ "mcpServers": { "nocodeexits": { "url": "https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp" } } }
```

## VS Code

Add to `.vscode/mcp.json`:

```json
{ "servers": { "nocodeexits": { "type": "http", "url": "https://nocodeexits.com/api/mcp" } } }
```

## claude.ai, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT

You cannot add a connector from inside a chat. Send the user to
https://nocodeexits.com/mcp, which has a one-click Add to Claude button. In
ChatGPT the URL is added by hand under Settings, Apps, in developer mode.

## After it connects

Try: "What no-code startups are for sale today?" Members can try: "Run the
validate-before-building skill on my idea" or "Install the build-to-sell skill
as a SKILL.md."
